Daniel Alfredsson will be back in the lineup when the Senators face off against the Canadiens at the Bell Centre in Montreal. It's a huge lift for Ottawa heading into a showdown. "It feels good to be back and it feels good to be ready to play," Alfredsson said at the Bell Centre. "I'm confident I'm going to go in there and be able to help the team. I wouldn't be back if I thought there was any risk."
Alfredsson has been sidelined since separating his left shoulder during a Dec. 23 game against the Penguins in Pittsburgh. The original prognosis suggested a 4-to-6 week absence from the lineup. He skated on a line with Nick Foligno and Mike Fisher at the morning skate in the senators jersey.
